Over the last few years, there has been a lot of controversy over face masks. It was only when a large study was conducted in Australia that it became clear that there was actually no evidence that these were harmful. This means that the debate over face masks is not really a question at all – it’s an opinion. Click here for more information about KN95 respirator masks
Some people, however, still argue about this topic. By reviewing the information from the past debate on the use of face masks in different credible sources: both countries which promoted the use of these masks pointed out the importance of the right use and proper maintenance of these masks, and other hygiene measures. In fact, the evidence available indicates that the use of face masks significantly reduced the number of cases of common cold in Australia. Also, the study on Australia pointed out that more than a third of the common cold cases that had been reported to the Royal Commission into Health and Ageing were caused by poor oral hygiene.
So now we can get back to the important part – are face masks important or not? The answer lies in the answer to the question of whether or not these masks are even necessary. These masks have actually been around for hundreds of years – and were very common in Victorian times. A number of researchers from the area have been able to document their use over several centuries. There is no evidence that these masks have ever harmed anyone.
However, these masks are not the only type of mask. There are some who argue that we should just avoid wearing face masks in public. Although you don’t need to do anything special to ensure that your face is covered, it is still better to wear a mask, rather than allowing someone else to expose your face. There are plenty of reasons why. For instance, when you are in a crowded room, you may not be able to make out what is being said behind you, and they will see your face and therefore decide not to take you seriously.
Wearing a mask also protects your skin from airborne germs. This is true of all types of face masks – whether they are used for cleaning purposes or for a specific purpose.
If you have any doubts about whether or not you should wear a face mask, you can just go ahead and buy one. There are some very good brands that are widely available in all supermarkets. If you have a very bad case of smelly breath, you might want to think about getting a more expensive one – but if you feel like your mouth is just fine without one, then it is probably time to give up the mask altogether.
